Our client is an ambitious and fast-growing business looking for a seasoned Customer Technical Manager to spearhead relationships with some of the most prominent suppliers in the sector.

As the Technical Manager, you will be the key point of contact managing supplier approval and food quality for the group. This role ensures technical excellence and high levels of customer satisfaction - resolving complex technical issues and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional results.

In this crucial role you will contribute significantly to the success of a forward-thinking company that is quickly building its reputation in the industry.

  • Assess supplier records and questionnaires to determine suitability, supporting the risk assessment process and maintaining an updated list of approved suppliers.
  • Plan and conduct supplier assessments, including audits, traces, and third-party reports, ensuring continuous compliance and addressing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, sharing insights and driving continuous improvement to ensure high performance.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to improve the supply base, assist with factory audits, investigate supplier issues, evaluate performance, and track KPIs.
