The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded food manufacturer, is seeking a talented NPD Manager to lead the development of new and exciting products. In this role, you’ll manage the full development cycle, working cross-functionally and directly with major UK retailers to bring high-quality, commercially successful products to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full NPD process from concept through to successful launch.
  • Lead innovation projects in collaboration with major UK retail customers.
  • Identify and respond to food trends and customer insights to create commercially viable products.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including technical, production, and commercial, to ensure project delivery.
  • Oversee product trials, ensuring feasibility, quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver presentations and updates to both internal stakeholders and external retail partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an NPD Manager within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of UK retailer requirements and expectations.
