I’m working with a well-established, high-performing manufacturing site in Corby who are looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Manager to take full ownership of site maintenance, reliability and engineering performance. This is a senior leadership role with real autonomy, responsible for the condition of all assets, driving safety, maximising uptime, and leading a multi-skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced production environment.
The role:
- Lead and develop the site maintenance team, setting clear standards and expectations
- Own preventative maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement strategy
- Drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes, not firefighting
- Manage contractors, spares, budgets and engineering standards
- Support and deliver site engineering and improvement projects
What I’m looking for:
- Proven Engineering / Maintenance Manager experience in manufacturing (food, FMCG, chemical or similar)
- Strong electrical & mechanical background (apprentice-trained or degree qualified)
- Confident people leader with a coaching management style
- Solid knowledge of CMMS, asset management and reliability best practice
- Health & Safety focused, results-driven and hands-on when needed
