Are you ready to take on an impactful role in a respected, well-known brand in food manufacturing? We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team and report to the Commercial Controller and contribute to its continued success.

This is a varied and exciting opportunity where you’ll have the chance to make a real impact within a fast-paced environment. The role will be hybrid in nature, with 3 days on site, and 2 days working from home.

As part of your responsibilities, you will:

• Manage and deliver against sales and margin targets (including new business targets) for a defined portfolio of trading partners.

• Implement annual customer business plans in line with the sales strategy.

• Establish a pipeline of new business opportunities aligned with the Sales Strategy.

• Develop strong customer relationships, becoming a key influencer in top customers, and foster a network across those accounts.

• Collaborate with the Category Team to develop category insights to optimise performance.

• Lead and work cross-functionally to unlock and convert new business growth and value chain opportunities profitably.

• Manage customer contract and terms negotiations, ensuring alignment with the company’s needs and requirements.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure we meet the technical and development requirements for all projects.

• Be the voice of the customer internally.

• Establish and develop strong relationships with colleagues in Planning, Technical, Purchasing, and NPD to drive a balanced approach to commercial opportunities cross-functionally.

• Work closely with the NPD, Process, and Finance teams to understand product, category, customer, and channel P&Ls, maximising NPD, category, and customer profit opportunities.

• Embrace the company values and reflect those behaviours both internally and externally.

Ideally, you will have:

• 4+ years of experience in FMCG sales or a similar sector. B2B Experience is a must.

• Proven customer management experience with a track record of positive account development.

• A strong understanding of product cost structure composition.

• Full commercial P&L understanding.
