We are working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected food production business seeking a Technical Manager to take ownership of site-wide food safety, quality, and compliance. This is a confidential search for a key leadership position, offering real influence across operations and senior management.

This expansion provides a unique opportunity for a Technical Manager to shape the quality and compliance framework of a company on the rise, ensuring high standards are maintained while supporting the onboarding of new products and customers. The Role
As Technical Manager, you will lead technical compliance and quality standards across the site, ensuring alignment with third-party accreditation and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and QA/QC strategy
- Managing HACCP and food safety systems
- Driving customer complaint investigation and reduction programs
- Owning key quality control and verification processes
- Leading BRCGS and customer audits to AA / GREEN outcomes
- Overseeing held stock management and corrective actions
- Delivering food safety and quality training at all levels
- Implementing root cause analysis and preventive actions
- Ensuring customer and retailer codes of practice are embedded
- Coordinating customer visits and regulatory inspections
About You
You will have:
- BSc or higher qualification in Food Safety or related field
- Level 3 HACCP certification (essential)
- 5+ years’ experience in food manufacturing in a technical/QA role
- Proven experience leading BRCGS and regulatory audits
- Strong knowledge of retailer codes of practice
