We are working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected food production business seeking a Technical Manager to take ownership of site-wide food safety, quality, and compliance. The Role

As Technical Manager, you will lead technical compliance and quality standards across the site, ensuring alignment with third-party accreditation and customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading quality improvement initiatives and QA/QC strategy
  • Managing HACCP and food safety systems
  • Driving customer complaint investigation and reduction programs
  • Owning key quality control and verification processes
  • Leading BRCGS and customer audits to AA / GREEN outcomes
  • Overseeing held stock management and corrective actions
  • Delivering food safety and quality training at all levels
  • Implementing root cause analysis and preventive actions
  • Ensuring customer and retailer codes of practice are embedded
  • Coordinating customer visits and regulatory inspections

About You

You will have:

  • BSc or higher qualification in Food Safety or related field
  • Level 3 HACCP certification (essential)
  • 5+ years’ experience in food manufacturing in a technical/QA role
  • Proven experience leading BRCGS and regulatory audits
  • Strong knowledge of retailer codes of practice
