Teaching Assistants - North & South Birmingham (Flexible & Long-Term Roles)

Are you passionate about education and supporting students in their learning journey? We are currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team on a day-to-day basis at a range of fantastic schools.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Help prepare lesson materials and classroom resources.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within an education-based setting.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the curriculum.
  • Genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
