We are currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team on a day-to-day basis at a range of fantastic schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as a Teaching Assistant.
- Help prepare lesson materials and classroom resources.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within an education-based setting.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of the curriculum.
- Genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last five years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last five years. The role advertised is for temporary supply work. Zest Education is an APSCo-audited agency dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS and be registered to the DBS Update Service, provide references for the last two years, and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
