We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a young pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role involves:

  • Providing personalised academic and social support throughout the school day
  • Implementing tailored interventions and visual supports to meet individual learning goals
  • Building a trusting, respectful relationship to foster confidence and independence
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCo, parents, and external professionals
  • Observing, recording, and contributing to review meetings and pupil progress planning
  • Modelling positive behaviour strategies and promoting peer inclusion
  • Adapting resources to support multi-sensory and flexible learning approaches

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years. The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
