We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a young pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role involves:
- Providing personalised academic and social support throughout the school day
- Implementing tailored interventions and visual supports to meet individual learning goals
- Building a trusting, respectful relationship to foster confidence and independence
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCo, parents, and external professionals
- Observing, recording, and contributing to review meetings and pupil progress planning
- Modelling positive behaviour strategies and promoting peer inclusion
- Adapting resources to support multi-sensory and flexible learning approaches
