Teaching Assistant Sutton Coldfield | Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities Zest Education are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools across Sutton Coldfield.
We are a main agency provider to schools across the region and have an ongoing need for enthusiastic, reliable and caring individuals to join our team.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent university graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education, or someone with a strong background working with children and young people, we would love to hear from you.
The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and other school staff to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include
- Supporting pupils in the classroom and helping them to engage with their learning
- Working with individuals or small groups of pupils
- Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra help with their education
- Helping teachers prepare and organise classroom resources
- Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm learning environment
- Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and social skills
- Assisting with activities, lessons and school routines
- Providing pastoral support and acting as a positive role model
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where appropriate Who Are We Looking For?
