Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas.
- Ensure toilets, washrooms, and dining areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
- Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the site manager.
- Support the school in maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for all.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in cleaning, ideally within a school or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe working practices.
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
