Key Responsibilities – Year 3 Primary Teacher Job
- Planning and teaching engaging and creative lessons aligned with the Year 3 National Curriculum.
- Preparing teaching resources, marking student work, and maintaining an organised classroom environment.
- Utilising weekly PPA time to support lesson planning and assessment.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
- Communicating effectively with parents to track and support pupil progress.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s expectations and policies.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant Key Stage 2 experience (Year 3 preferred).
- Have a strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and best practices in primary teaching.
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality education that supports pupil progress and well-being.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
- Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate.
