A forward‑thinking SEN school in Rugeley is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part‑Time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role focuses on supporting children and young people aged 5 to 18 with a wide range of special educational needs, ensuring both their learning and social/emotional wellbeing are at the heart of everything you do. Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with a variety of SEN needs.
- Help to promote pupils' social and emotional wellbeing, resilience, and independence.
- Assist with classroom activities, routines, and differentiated learning tasks.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils aged 5-18.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff.
- Support positive behaviour strategies to create a safe, encouraging environment.
