Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and vibrant school environment? Zest Education is working closely with a wonderful primary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a committed Key Stage 2 Teacher for a position starting in February 2026.

The school is seeking a passionate and creative Key Stage 2 teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and support the development of every child in their class. You will be responsible for all aspects of planning, teaching, and assessing within a supportive and collaborative team.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Contributing to wider school life, events, and continuous improvement
About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (including ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A nurturing, positive and reflective approach to teaching

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years. The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
