We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Stetchford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teaching staff and help create a positive, engaging learning environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS activities and lessons.
- Assist children with their learning, development, and social skills.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups where required.
- Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and displays.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support children's wellbeing.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational, nursery, or childcare setting is desirable.
- A positive, patient, and caring attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- EYFS qualifications are desired but not essential. Applications from candidates with relevant experience are encouraged.
