We are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to support pupils with SEND needs in a warm and supportive school environment.
About the Role
- Provide support for pupils with MSI, ASD, PMLD, PD, and SLD across structured and sensory‑based learning.
- Adapt learning materials, communication tools, and sensory resources to meet individual needs.
- Assist with personal‑care routines, independence‑building tasks, and mobility support.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and therapy teams to deliver targeted interventions.
- Support pupils during enrichment activities, outdoor learning, and life‑skills sessions.
- Contribute to progress monitoring, behaviour support, and IEP reviews.
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting SEND pupils.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Qualifications such as CACHE, NVQ, or TA Level 2/3 are beneficial.
- Motivation to progress as a teaching assistant.
