About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and complex needs).
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver tailored, engaging learning activities.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, helping boost confidence and independence.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support, adapting resources and communication to individual needs.
- Encourage emotional regulation, communication skills and social development.
- Help maintain a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
