We’re looking for a caring, patient and proactive SEND Learning Supporting Assistant to join a small, welcoming first school in Bromsgrove. This is a close-knit, community-focused setting where relationships matter and every child is known, supported and valued. The school has a nurturing SEND provision for pupils across KS1 and lower KS2, and they’re seeking someone who can bring consistency, positivity and a calm presence to the team.

About the Role

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs)
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support within a structured, child-centred provision
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions, build confidence and engage positively in learning
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCO and wider staff team
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment
  • Assisting with personalised learning plans and differentiated activities

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years. The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
