Primary Teaching Assistant (KS2) – Part-Time
Are you passionate about helping children thrive, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential?
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Sutton Coldfield.
Working within Key Stage 2, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed.
The Role
- Support pupils in the classroom, both individually and in small groups.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote a love of learning.
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
- Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
- Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all pupils.

- Have experience working with primary‑aged children (desirable).

Qualifications
- Qualifications in Childcare, Education, Teaching Assistance, or a related field are desirable.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are advantageous.
