Zest Education is proud to be supporting a brand-new specialist school in Twickenham that caters for pupils aged 7-16 with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As the school continues to grow, we are looking to appoint several dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nurturing, forward-thinking environment where every child is supported to thrive. Whether you’re an experienced SEND practitioner or someone with strong transferable skills and a genuine passion for working with neurodiverse young people, we would love to hear from you.

What the role involves:

  • Supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH)
  • Working within small classes of 4-6 students
  • Providing tailored support based on your experience and strengths
  • Assisting with learning activities, emotional regulation and social development
  • Some personal care may be required - training and support provided
  • Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a positive, structured learning environment

  • Experience in SEND settings OR transferable skills (care, youth work, psychology, sports coaching, etc.)

  • A desire to build long-term relationships - this is a temp-to-perm role, and the school is keen to offer permanent contracts to the right people
