We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing across the school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and keen to make a positive difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Help manage behaviour and promote positive learning.
- Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor and record pupil progress when necessary.
Person Specification:
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
- A patient, enthusiastic, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are an advantage but not essential.
