Zest Education is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tamworth. This role is due to start in September and is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom.

About the Role

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant position

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience
  • Working with children with SEND, including 1:1 and small-group support

Location

Tamworth – easily accessible from Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Atherstone, Burton and surrounding areas.

Conditions and Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years are required. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, provide references covering the last two years and successfully pass all necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work. The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
