We are recruiting a Supply Science Teacher to join an inclusive all-boys school to start as soon as possible in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a long-term supply opportunity with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role
- Deliver engaging Science lessons that support progress for all learners, adapting teaching to meet a range of needs.
- Teach appropriately sequenced lessons (with access to department resources and schemes of work).
- Create a calm, consistent learning environment and use positive behaviour strategies in line with school policy.
- Support pupils with EHCPs and additional needs through effective differentiation, scaffolding, and close collaboration with support staff.
- Monitor learning through formative assessment and provide feedback to help pupils improve.
- Work collaboratively with the Science department, SENCO, pastoral teams, and external professionals where required.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and/or KS4 (or strong subject knowledge with relevant experience).
- Proven experience supporting learners with EHCP plans and a strong understanding of inclusive classroom practice.
- Confidence working with small class sizes and adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
- Strong behaviour management, with a consistent, nurturing approach.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
