Zest Education is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tamworth. This role is due to start ASAP and is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive in the classroom.
We are looking for a confident, reliable and enthusiastic TA who is comfortable supporting pupils across the primary age range, including children with SEND. As most primary schools now have a wide range of additional needs, experience in this area is highly desirable.
About the Role- Full-time Teaching Assistant position
- Start date: ASAP
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience
- Working with children with SEND, including 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping deliver engaging learning activities set by the class teacher
- Supporting behaviour, emotional wellbeing and classroom routines
- Providing a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Must have previous Teaching Assistant experience
- Experience supporting children with SEND (desirable)
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
