Zest Education is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Edgbaston. This is a part-time role (3 days per week) starting in May. An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher looking to make a long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities- Planning and delivering high-quality, creative lessons that meet the National Curriculum requirements.
- Assessing student progress, marking work, and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Creating engaging, collaborative lessons that promote teamwork and communication.
- Liaising with parents, senior leaders, and external bodies to discuss student progress.
- Providing individualised support to meet the needs of all learners.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent experience teaching in a primary school.
- A strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and Key Stage 2 learning objectives.
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
