About the EYFS Teacher Role:As an EYFS Teacher, you will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to the needs of young children aged 3 to 5, ensuring a stimulating and safe learning environment. The school encourages high standards of learning and behaviour, with a focus on fostering confidence in EYFS students.
Key Responsibilities for the EYFS Teacher:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Create a supportive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and professionals to support children’s learning and wellbeing
- Ensure the health and safety of children during all activities within the EYFS setting
- Contribute to planning, preparation, and evaluation of EYFS provision as part of a team
- Relevant experience working as an EYFS Teacher or in an early years educational setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
