- Zest Education are currently recruiting for an experienced
School Administrator to join a busy and welcoming Secondary school in Stafford.
This is a long-term opportunity for a highly organised and professional individual who can provide efficient administrative support to the school office and wider leadership team.
The successful candidate will be available to start as soon as possible and will support the school until at least
December 2026 .
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the school leadership team, teachers, and wider staff.
- Managing reception duties, including greeting visitors and handling telephone and email enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and data management systems.
- Processing attendance, admissions, and school correspondence.
- Supporting with safeguarding and compliance administration.
- Producing letters, reports, and other school documentation.
- Coordinating meetings, appointments, and events.
- Ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Requirements
Previous school administration experience is essential.
- Experience using school management systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or similar is highly desirable.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional and approachable manner.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
