Independent Dental Practice
Three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
Mixed clinical role including NHS children, hygiene, and private therapy
This is a superb opportunity for a Dental Therapist to join an established, independently owned dental practice in the centre of York. This is a well-rounded position across three days per week, offering a mixture of NHS and private treatment, with scope for additional hours in the future.
You will have clinical responsibility for:
- A dedicated NHS children’s clinic (Tuesdays)
- Hygiene and private therapy on referral (Wednesdays)
- Hygiene/periodontal care (Fridays)
Supported by an experienced and well-organised team, you will benefit from excellent remuneration, with £10 per UDA for NHS therapy, £36 per hour for hygiene sessions, and £40 per hour for private therapy. Thursdays may also become available from April, with a mix of NHS children's clinic or urgent care sessions, depending on NHS contract arrangements.
The practice is extremely well-equipped and efficiently run, located within easy walking distance of York train station, with pay and display parking nearby. The team includes experienced dentists, dental nurses, hygienists, and a Clinical Director, providing a supportive and professional environment with a strong emphasis on quality and development.
The practice also provides a range of advanced services, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, fixed orthodontics, implants, and Invisalign.
The successful candidate will be a GDC-registered dental hygienist/therapist with experience providing hygiene and therapy services in UK dental practice.
