This is a modern, independently owned dental practice situated in a popular suburb of Nottingham. The practice forms part of a small, well-established group led by a highly experienced Principal Dentist and a long-serving Practice Manager. Their shared focus is on providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and well-run environment, and the practice has recently been shortlisted in three categories at the Private Dentistry Awards.
The practice is seeking to recruit an associate dentist to provide a mix of NHS and private dentistry. The practice is predominantly private, at around 80%, and demand is high, so the successful dentist will join with an established private list of 400 to 500 patients from day one.
The role is offered on a minimum of three days per week, with four days ideal and genuine scope to build up to five days given current demand. The NHS commitment will be in the region of 2,000 to 4,000 UDAs per year, flexible depending on days worked, with therapists also supporting NHS treatment. NHS patients are seen and stabilised by the Principal Dentist before being handed over, so the incoming dentist will not inherit a backlog of outstanding treatment.
Equipped to a high standard throughout, the practice includes iTero scanning, brand-new clinical equipment, and well-designed surgeries. The dentist will be well supported by an experienced team, including therapists, hygiene support, and a treatment coordinator to assist with patient communication and case acceptance.
This role would suit a dentist with a strong generalist skill set and high clinical standards who enjoys delivering quality private care alongside some NHS dentistry. Applications are welcomed from both experienced clinicians and more recently qualified dentists who are confident in their clinical ability and communication skills. The Principal Dentist offers excellent leadership and support, with a successful history of mentoring associates across their other practices.
Successful candidates will be fully registered with the GDC, hold or be eligible for an NHS Performer Number, and have experience of providing dental treatment in the UK.
All applications and enquiries will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
