Zest Optical are working alongside a well-established independent Opticians in Kidderminster to recruit a GOC registered Dispensing Optician. This opportunity has arisen due to the retirement of a long-serving Dispensing Optician, giving you the chance to inherit an established patient base while joining a successful independent practice with an excellent reputation. It's also an exciting time to join, with a full refurbishment planned in the coming months.
The practice would ideally like to recruit someone on a part-time basis, although applications are welcomed from Dispensing Opticians looking for 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
The Opportunity- Join a respected independent practice with a loyal patient base
- Work alongside experienced Optometrists, Optical Assistants, an on-site laboratory and Audiologist
- Dispense a carefully selected range of premium eyewear including LINDBERG, Face à Face, Silhouette, Ray-Ban, Oakley and more
- Use Digital Mirror dispensing technology and Optix practice management software
- Be involved in all aspects of dispensing and patient care within a busy six-day practice
- Opportunity to support neighbouring practices on occasion
- 3, 4 or 5 days per week with set working days
- Alternate Saturdays only
- Generally 9:00am to 5:30pm with some earlier shifts being introduced
- £30,000 - £34,000 pro rata plus bonus
- 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata), plus your birthday off
- Ongoing training including OCT, dry eye clinics and Valeda AMD treatments
