Zest Dental Recruitment are working with a highly established and specialised dental clinic who are looking to recruit an experienced Practice Manager to lead a dynamic team at their practice in Birmingham (South West location). This will be a key, hands-on role within their leadership function. As Practice Manager, this will be a dynamic and operationally focused position where you will play an integral part in the day-to-day running of the practice. You will be hands-on in overseeing the day-to-day operations, supporting the team, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Your leadership will help the clinic deliver an exceptional experience for both patients and staff.

Dental Practice Manager - Role

  • Operational Support & Management, including finance, compliance and HR
  • Provide hands-on leadership to operational staff, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
  • Analyse expenditure and key financial metrics, contributing to the clinic's financial success including cost-benefit analyses and negotiate contracts to optimize costs and increase profitability.
  • Referral Network Management: Develop strategies to drive referrals and track their effectiveness.
  • Patient Retention & Growth: Use patient data to develop targeted marketing campaigns that enhance retention and attract new patients.
  • Identify and implement strategies to grow private patient base.
  • Business Development & Strategy: Research and identify new market opportunities for business growth.
  • Perform competitor analysis and support the development of expansion strategies.

Dental Practice Manager - Requirements

  • A solid understanding of the dental industry and with high IT / Technical experience using dental practice management software/CRM.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on operational efficiency and financial management.
  • Proven experience in dental operations and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in dental industry management is essential.
