Overview
Zest Optical Recruitment are working in partnership with a highly regarded independent opticians based in Coventry to recruit a full or part time Optometrist. This is a patient focused, quality led practice with an excellent reputation in the local area. The business is known for delivering a clinical approach to eye care, supported by advanced technology, longer appointment times, and strong links with local healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Role: Optometrist in a patient focused independent practice with a strong clinical reputation
- Delivery of high-quality eye care with longer appointment times (30 minutes testing times)
- Utilise latest diagnostic technology, including OCT and Topographer
- Involvement in specialist clinics including dry eye, low vision assessments, complex contact lens fitting, glaucoma referral, and MECS
- Work alongside experienced Optometrists and a supportive clinical team
- Independent Prescribing would be advantageous, with support to work towards it if not currently qualified
- Maintain excellent links with the local hospital and wider healthcare network
- Full or part time role available
- Saturday work: 3 in 4 basis
Salary & Benefits
- Salary £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
- 1 in 4 Saturdays off
