Well-established as one of the leading manufacturers of smart and efficient instruments and technologies in the industry, our client has developed a fantastic reputation for offering a whole range of services and forged long-lasting relationships with a number of leading eye care providers in the UK.

Field Service Engineer (Optical / Ophthalmic) – Role
  • Primary responsibility of providing technical support for partners throughout Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex and Hampshire.
  • Perform on-site installations, preventive maintenance, software/hardware updates and repairs.
  • Instructing/training customers on technical operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Manage and control field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation, and other assigned equipment.
  • Variety of individual and team projects.
Field Service Engineer (Optical / Ophthalmic) – Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Professional in the Optical or Healthcare industries.
  • Can demonstrate functional technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with customers required.

  • Base salary up to £45,000.
  • Fully expensed vehicle.
