Zest4Talent is working in partnership with a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy seeking an experienced Sustainability Associate / Associate Director to join its growing Sustainability and Building Performance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior sustainability professional to take a leading role in delivering innovative sustainability, net zero and building performance solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, infrastructure and public sector developments.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, manage and develop key client relationships, mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of an established sustainability consultancy offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sustainability and building performance projects from inception to completion
  • Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
  • Provide technical leadership across sustainability and environmental design disciplines
  • Support business development and growth initiatives
  • Mentor and develop junior consultants
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams across a wide range of sectors
Requirements
  • Extensive experience within sustainability consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of building performance modelling and environmental design
  • Significant experience using IES VE
  • Experience delivering energy and sustainability strategies
  • Proven project leadership and client management skills
  • Team leadership, mentoring and people development experience
  • Commercial awareness and business development capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
