Are you already selling into the building compliance or energy and sustainability space and ready for a new challenge? We are working with a fast-growing, ambitious consultancy operating at the forefront of building compliance, energy strategy and sustainability advisory services across the UK. They are commercially sharp, technically credible and growing, and now looking for a Business Developer / Account Manager to help accelerate that growth. This is a remote role, so you can be based anywhere in the UK — but you must understand the building compliance landscape and the commercial drivers behind planning and sustainability regulation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving new business within building compliance and sustainability consultancy
  • Managing and growing key client accounts
  • Engaging developers, architects, planning consultants and contractors
  • Selling consultancy-led solutions, not just services
  • Using your understanding of the London Plan and GLA requirements to open commercial conversations
  • Identifying growth opportunities in a technically evolving market

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven business development or account management experience in building compliance, building services, sustainability or a related technical sector
  • Strong understanding of the London Plan, GLA policy and wider UK planning frameworks
  • Confidence selling technical or advisory services
  • A commercially focused, target-driven mindset
  • Someone who enjoys autonomy and thrives in a growth environment

Why consider it?

  • Up to £50,000 basic salary
  • Remote flexibility
  • Clear growth trajectory
  • Work with high-profile development and sustainability projects
  • Be part of a business shaping the future of the built environment

If you understand the commercial power of compliance and sustainability and know how to turn policy into pipeline, we would love to speak with you.
