The Role

This is not a typical graduate job. We are seeking a
rockstar graduate in AI and server-side engineering
— someone with the
intellectual firepower, creativity, and hands-on skills
to contribute immediately.

This role blends
cutting-edge theoretical AI thinking

practical server-side engineering
. You will help design and scale the Zervio Orbit platform, while exploring advanced AI approaches to forecasting, optimisation, and energy asset control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build
    server-side systems
    for scalable, high-performance applications.
  • Contribute to the
    Orbit platform roadmap
    , delivering production-ready features in billing, monitoring, and asset management.
  • Apply
    AI/ML concepts
    to real-world challenges such as forecasting, optimisation, and anomaly detection.
  • Work directly with our senior server-side engineering team to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Combine
    visionary thinking with hands-on engineering excellence

Essential Skills & Requirements

We are only looking for the best. To be considered, you will need:

  • A
    top degree
    (or on track to achieve one) in
    Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    server-side programming
    (e.g. Java, RUST).
  • Solid understanding of
    databases
    (SQL/NoSQL) and
    distributed systems
    .
  • Proven experience or projects involving
    AI/ML techniques
    and their applications.
  • Familiarity with
