IT Report Analyst

At Zertus UK & Ireland, we’re proud to be a food manufacturer with a fully in-house IT team. We work directly with our chocolate and snacking factories, supporting operations with smart, tailored technology solutions. We’re looking for aReport Analyst who’s ready to get hands-on with data, build new reporting tools from scratch, and help us continue to move toward more advanced analytics, including AI. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values development, encourages innovation, and is committed to staying ahead of technical trends.
Position type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
Pay range: £27,500 - £32,000 annually
Breaks: 30 minutes per day

Responsibilities
- Gathering, cleaning, and modelling data from across the business, including operational and machinery data from our factories, as well as finance, HR, Supply Chain, Sales and Procurement.
- Building and maintaining Power BI reports and certified datasets.
- Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Using SQL and Python to clean, transform, and analyse data.
- Supporting users across the business with training and reporting guidance.
- Contributing to our journey into AI and advanced analytics.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting and data usage.
- Continuously developing your skills through mentoring and hands-on experience.
Qualifications
- A genuine interest in data and technology.
- Experience with Power BI and SQL (even if gained through personal projects or coursework).
- Exposure to programming and data modelling (Python is a plus).
- Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills.
- Good communication and a collaborative mindset.
