Overview
Packing Operative (Multiple roles available) at Humdinger Ltd, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25.
Pay rate: £12.73 per hour, with the potential of overtime at 150%.
Shift pattern: 12-hour rotating shifts (days 6am-6pm & nights 6pm-6am) with NO Friday night, Saturday day, Saturday night or Sunday day shift working.
- Week 1: 3 day shifts, followed by 2 days off
- Week 2: 3 night shifts, followed by 5 days off
- Week 3: 2 day shifts + 2 night shifts, followed by 5 days off, then repeat
Closing date: Friday 5th June 2026.
Interviews: Monday - Friday, 10:00 or 14:30 (If you cannot attend at these times, please let us know).
Responsibilities
- Support Machine Operators by packing bagged products into boxes.
- Complete essential quality checks.
- Perform manual handling tasks including picking, packing, and other production duties.
- Work independently while receiving support from your Team Leader.
- Receive training in Level 2 Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, and various other certifications in your first few weeks.
Qualifications
We're in search of committed team players. While prior experience in a food or similar factory environment is beneficial, we encourage discussions with all candidates eager to be part of the Humdinger team.
