Mixing Operative / Forklift Driver
Humdinger, Heckington
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Mixing Operative / FLT Driver to help keep production moving safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours/Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 22:00 - 06:00
Pay: £14.58 per hour
Closing date: Friday 4th September 2026
Responsibilities
- Operate Reach Truck safely and efficiently.
- Supply raw materials and work-in-progress products to production lines.
- Prepare mixes accurately using production recipes.
- Complete quality checks and associated documentation.
- Operate and clean mixing equipment to food manufacturing standards.
- Support packing activities and manual handling tasks.
- Accurately complete system transactions and paperwork.
- Work with production teams to ensure daily targets are achieved.
Qualifications
- Reach Truck Licence OR Counterbalance Licence (with willingness to complete in-house Reach Truck conversion).
- Experience working in a food manufacturing.
- Able to follow processes, recipes and quality procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to undertake manual handling activities, including lifting products safely.
