Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain communal areas including canteens, toilets, changing rooms and office spaces.
- Carry out cleaning within production areas including floors, walls, tables and work surfaces.
- Empty waste bins and replenish hygiene consumables such as soap and paper towels.
- Complete cleaning records accurately in line with site procedures.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment following training and site standards.
- Maintain GMP, hygiene and food safety standards across the site.
- Identify and report any hygiene, safety or environmental concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous cleaning experience in a workplace environment or food manufacturing experience (no prior cleaning experience required).
- Good attention to detail and high personal standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable approach to attendance and timekeeping.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of food safety and GMP practices (desirable).
- Experience working with cleaning chemicals (desirable).
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification (must have).
