Zertus UK & Ireland is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Executive Assistant to support our Board of Directors. This is a key role for someone who is not only passionately organised but also highly confident in using technology to drive efficiency. We’re looking for someone who embraces innovation, with a strong interest or experience in using AI tools and digital alternatives to enhance day-to-day tasks.
The successful candidate will be trusted with sensitive and financial information, so discretion, personal integrity, and trustworthiness are essential. Position details
- Type: Full time, permanent
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 0830 – 1630 (37.5 hours/week)
- Pay: £28,000 – £30,000
- Location: Home based in North/West Yorkshire, near Sherburn-in-Elmet. Travel to UK & Ireland sites may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide confidential administrative support to the Board
- Organise UK and international travel and accommodation
- Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and meetings
- Manage diaries, meetings, and travel logistics
- Prepare presentations and complex spreadsheets
- Handle expenses and receipts
- Take minutes and set agendas for meetings
- Manage sensitive and financial information discreetly
- Support business projects and deadlines
- Respond professionally to emails and calls
- Perform general admin duties: scanning, copying, filing
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion
- Support change, influence, and build relationships at all levels
- Work flexibly to support business needs
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience in coordinating/assisting in similar roles
- Proactive, innovative, and able to support digital/AI tools
- Previous experience in FMCG preferred
- Experience with OneNote, Publisher, TeamViewer
- Interest or experience in AI for work tasks
