The Respiratory service operates across both the Queens Medical Centre (QMC) and City campuses, requiring cross‐site working. Most inpatient beds are at the City campus, with a 20‐bed Respiratory Assessment Unit (RAU) – including four side rooms – led by a strong multidisciplinary team that includes Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) and junior doctors. On the QMC campus we have a 12‐bed Advanced Respiratory Care Unit (ARCU), and the team also provides in‐reach cover to the Emergency Department and acute medical admissions at QMC.

Applicants must have GMC registration and be eligible to be included on the Specialist Register.
Subspecialty Development
Candidates with limited sub‐specialty experience are welcome – we will support training and mentorship tailored to your needs.
