An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring individual to join our experienced, highly skilled Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Nursing Team. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible experience to our patients and their families, ensuring clinical excellence and compassionate, thoughtful care at all times. Our team would welcome a forward thinking, dynamic Nurse who is committed to ensuring our patients receive only the very best in evidence based Nursing care.

The successful candidate will display excellent communication skills and be able to confidently liaise with all multi-disciplinary team members to ensure the safe, timely care of our patients. Our IBD nurse specialist team covers a variety of demands including our patient advice line, outpatient clinics and inpatient support to name just a few. Our team is tight knit and work well together, very supportive of each other. This vacancy would be suitable for a nurse with gastroenterology experience and ideally with experience of caring for patients with IBD.

The Role Will Require You To:

  • Work independently and within part of the nurse specialist team.
  • Review patients in the clinic environment, and inpatient setting.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding their diagnosis and treatment.
  • Assess and triage patients via the telephone advice line.
  • Organise and monitor biologic and immunosuppressant medication.
