Here at Nurse Seekers, we are proud to be working for a quality independent day nursery based in Hither Green, South London, who are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner. Requirements for this role:

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an early years setting
  • Passionate about childcare and child development
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
  • Organised, proactive, and able to lead by example
  • Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead daily routines, activities, and learning opportunities in your room
  • Plan and implement engaging activities to support children's development
  • Work closely with the management team to maintain high standards
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
  • Act as a key person to a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families
  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensure the environment is safe, stimulating, and inclusive at all times
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery
  • Take responsibility for observations, assessments, and planning
  • Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
