Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities that reflect the unique needs and interests of each child.
- Continuously observe, evaluate, and document children's development, working closely with parents and carers to build a complete picture of their progress.
- Adapt your teaching style to suit different learning needs and abilities, ensuring an inclusive, nurturing environment for all children.
- Lead and motivate a team of nursery practitioners, offering guidance, support, and training to new staff and students, and clearly outlining room expectations.
- Oversee each child's well-being, responding swiftly to any health or developmental concerns and communicating updates to parents and carers.
- Promote a positive, collaborative team atmosphere where open communication and shared commitment to the nursery's values are encouraged.
- Complete all required paperwork, maintain accurate records, and support the nursery's administrative duties.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers, offering regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns with care and professionalism.
