They are looking to employ a Deputy Room Lead Nursery Nursefor their excellent settings which are based in the Bournemouth area. This is a unique opportunity as you will only be working split shifts meaning an easy work/personal life balance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Over x2 Years\’ Experience in Childcare. (Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare)
- Strong leadership skills
- A passion for early childhood education and development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety standards
Key Responsibilities
- To lead activities as directed.
- To organise and run activities that engage and inspire the children
- To support colleagues in their responsibilities as necessary.
- To Keywork effectively, building & maintaining positive relationships with families, keeping tidy and accurate records up to date, planning personalized play and evaluating it for further play opportunities
- To ensure the overall happiness and well-being of the children.
- To be alert to issues of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring that the welfare and safety of children attending the setting is promoted and to follow safeguarding procedures.
- To assist in school pick-ups as necessary.
- Be vigilant in maintaining children\’s wellbeing, health and safety promoting good practice within the setting and report any concerns to the setting manager/deputy manager.
- To ensure that Club policies and the Early Years Foundation Stage are adhered to at all times
