Nursery Nurse
Here at Zero2Five are proud to be working for a quality independent day nursery based in Hither Green, South London, who are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow in their career, take on more responsibility and make a real impact on children\’s early learning and development.
Requirements for this role:
- Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Minimum 2 years\’ experience in an early years setting.
- Passionate about childcare and child development.
- Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
- Organised, proactive, and able to lead by example.
- Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead daily routines, activities, and learning opportunities in your room.
- Plan and implement engaging activities to support children\’s development.
- Work closely with the management team to maintain high standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
- Act as a key person to a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the EYFS framework.
- Ensure the environment is safe, stimulating, and inclusive at all times.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery.
- Take responsibility for observations, assessments, and planning.
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
