You will: Lead, motivate and support your room team on a daily basis. Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive activities in line with the EYFS. Manage the daily routine, ensuring a calm, safe and well-organised room. Mentor and support junior practitioners and apprentices. Act as Key Person and build strong relationships with children and families. Complete observations, assessments and children's next steps using Famly. Support 2-year progress checks and transition reports. Identify and support children with additional needs alongside the SENCO. Build positive relationships with parents and communicate children's progress. Lead or contribute to room meetings and planning sessions. Maintain excellent safeguarding, health and safety standards. Complete daily risk assessments and ensure the learning environment is safe and stimulating. What We're Looking For Level 3 Early Years qualification – full and relevant Experience working with children aged 0–5 For the Baby Unit, experience with children aged 0–2 is required Strong knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework Experience leading, mentoring or supporting other practitioners Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service Paediatric First Aid certificate Excellent communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for providing outstanding early years experiences Apply today!
