Who We’re Looking For: Note: This is primarily an office‑based role (4 days a week in the office) for applicants based in the UK. It is a remote working role for applicants based in the US. As an Account Director at Zero100, you will be an integral part of the team focused on delivering an exceptional customer engagement experience, with the primary focus being to retain and expand our partnerships with our existing members. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our members, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Supply Chain Officers and their teams across Fortune 1000 companies, building multi‑threaded partnerships, aligning Zero100’s research/network/advisory capabilities to member priorities, and ensuring high engagement and measurable value realization.
What you’ll do (Key Responsibilities):
- Own the commercial plan for a defined book of business, including renewal strategy, pricing/packaging conversations (where relevant), forecasting, and contract execution.
- Drive retention and expansion by mapping stakeholder needs, building annual engagement plans, and identifying/closing upsell opportunities (additional memberships, add‑on services, expanded access across regions/teams, etc.).
- Build and maintain trusted, executive‑level relationships (C‑suite and direct reports), acting as a thought partner to help leaders apply Zero100 insights to their biggest operational and supply chain priorities.
- Lead value delivery and engagement: ensure members are actively using Zero100 research, participating in peer forums, attending events/briefings, and connecting with relevant experts and peers.
- Multi‑thread accounts across senior sponsors, day‑to‑day champions, and procurement/finance to reduce churn risk and support expansion.
- Partner closely with Research, Product and Delivery teams to match the right content, programming and advisory to each account and to surface opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor account health using engagement data, renewal signals and member feedback; proactively mitigate risk and create clear action plans.
- Act as the voice of the customer: share trends, competitive intel, and product/content feedback to improve the member experience.
What success looks like In the first 6‑12 months, you will:
- Establish executive relationships across accounts and deliver consistent engagement.
- Deliver strong gross retention and drive net revenue retention through expansion.
- Build repeatable account plans that connect member priorities to Zero100 programs and measurable outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Enterprise subscription, research, or SaaS sales/Account Management, with at least 5‑10+ years in a similar role.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, including selling six‑figure deals to large enterprises at the C‑level.
- Experience negotiating contracts with sophisticated procurement teams.
- Ability to develop warm client relationships, challenge client thinking, and create emotional connections during the sales process.
- Resourcefulness, resilience, and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a solutions mindset, willing to contribute to building a business.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and persevere through challenges.
- Willingness to adapt and flex as the business evolves.
- Travel approximately 30% of the time to attend Zero100 events and meet members in‑person to deepen relationships and drive renewals/expansion.
