The primary purpose of the Assistant Editor role is to support the TMC Creative and Content team, as well as the wider group, in delivering the highest standard of creative output across content and campaign activations.
You will be multi-skilled and able to take on various responsibilities across the company:
- Ingesting media and preparing for editors
- Logging of material and basic editing
- Basic editing social content for big brands
- Versioning into multiple formats
- DIT/Data Wrangling
- Server Management
- QC
- Managing all media from shoots, contributors and graphics houses, ensuring everything is suitably backed up and labelled correctly
You will be aware of new developments in relevant technology and keep abreast of new technology and social media platforms. Applicant should have good technical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and ensure correct naming conventions are applied. You will also research and source archive materials and prepare edits for grade/sound by generating EDLs and XMLs, AAFs.
ABOUT YOU
You will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Must be skilled in Premiere Pro and Media Encoder. Proficient in After Effects is advantageous. You should be enthusiastic and passionate about great creative work, AI driven workflows, and flexible enough to think on your feet in a busy creative environment. You will be highly organised and driven, confident when dealing with the general public, able to take direction well, and be a team player with good communication skills. You should have the ability to multi-task, show a willingness to learn with a proactive attitude, be punctual with good timekeeping skills, and have a good eye for detail.
