The Governance & Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing and embedding effective and efficient organisational approaches to ensure we meet our obligations as a Scottish public authority and to support delivery of our corporate objectives. With the rest of the Governance and Compliance Team, you will work on areas including:
- All aspects of information governance including records management, handling requests for information and supporting the data protection officer
- Policy review and impact assessments
- Risk and control monitoring and reporting
- Continuous improvement review and action planning
- Develop and deliver guidance and training materials on all of the above
- Other activities such as maintaining the register of interests
